South West Arlington Property Owners, concerning those who own their mineral rights in the area South of IH20 to Eden and Hwy 287 to Cooper. Please see the blog postings dated, July 22, July 9, and June 15 to what we are up to. Thanks.

SWAPO General Meeting Announcement

·        We are having a meeting for the “lease signing holdouts” of S.W. Arlington. Everybody who has not signed a lease is invited!

·        Purpose of meeting is to inform you of the offers presently available from Edge Resources and Chesapeake Energy.

·        If you haven’t already done so, please bring your signed Memorandum of Intent to this meeting. We still need more numbers to insure our negotiating leverage. If you haven’t received a MOI from us, we will have blank ones available at the meeting for you to fill out.

·        Please inform your neighbors of this meeting. This is a Do or Die situation. We do not have everyone’s contact information. Just because we have your contact info does not mean we have your neighbors. We need your help to spread the word. Only with your help can we become a big enough group to command a reasonable signing bonus from these companies.

·        Date of Meeting: Tuesday, August 2^nd, 2011.

·        Venue: Park Springs Bible Church, located at 5515 Park Springs Blvd., Arlington, TX 76017-4157

·        Time 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

·        We will be taking donations at the door to help pay for this venue. $1 or $2 depending upon our turnout.

SWAPO 2011 News, July update...

• Our goal is to have a presentation meeting soon by SWAPO, disclosing your options.
• We will notify you of the details of the meeting by email, if you have registered.
• We are in the process of negotiating a favorable gas lease for our neighborhood, with both Chesapeake and EDGE. The signing bonus offered, we have heard, is between $2500 to $4000 depending on where you live.
• Our area is South of Green Oaks to Curry Rd and Hwy 287 East to Calender.
• An important key area is 8000 feet East and SE from McDonalds on Sublett and 287.
• Memorandum of Intent - we request that you sign one and mail to us, as soon as possible.

Who should register? Homeowners who live on Kenilworth, Westgrove (up to Summergrove), Summergrove, Thorn Hill and Tiverton. Please click on the link below to register

Why register? Our goal is to be able to send out a mass communication of an urgent or suspicious event in a timely manner by email (and cell phones) to all our neighbors by block captains. We need your permission and a program like Mail Chimp to be able to do this and that is why we need your registration into the Mail Chimp System. Confirmed Block Captains so far as Gary Clopton, Jeff Biggs, and David Hart. We need one for Tiverton and South Summergrove, please email one of us.
