Arlington Town Hall Meetings; Short term rental of residential properties.

This January, members of the City of Arlington City Council will be hosting  a series of community town hall meetings to discuss the short-term rental industry.  The purpose of these meetings will be to present data about the current situation, take public comment about community concerns, and learn how other cities are balancing the opportunities and challenges of this new and dynamic marketplace.

Short-term rentals (STRs) are a complex topic, one that raises important questions about balancing housing, quality of life, and economic development in our neighborhoods. Getting feedback from all stakeholders – hosts, neighbors, business owners, and guests – will help the City prioritize the issues that matter most to our community.

We invite you to participate in one of the following meetings:

6:30 p.m.
Lamar High School, 1400 W. Lamar Blvd.

West Arlington Police Station, 2060 W. Green Oaks Blvd.
