Toilets / Showerheads exchange program anyone? ...News from the City....

Community News: Arlington Encourages Homeowners to Replace Older Model Toilets - Free toilets are available through the water conservation program

Arlington Water Utilities is encouraging homeowners this fall to replace older, high water-use toilets with new high-efficiency WaterSense® toilets. For detials click linnk below:

SWAPO news... Sell your mineral rights?...

SWAPO has learned.... That there is a group called Addax Minerals going around to those with signed leases and saying they are paying lump sum royalties for your well that is in production. Chesapeake Gas people at their downtown Ft. Worth office, say that when royalties start being paid the payments and prepayment paperwork will come from Chesapeake or Carrizo and no one else, per neighborhood specialist, Michelle at 817-502-5000, a Chesapeake employee.

Correction... 2/2/12: Addax has no affiliation with the operators, Chesapeake or Carrizo. SWAPO has now posted the Addax web site below so that you may make an informed decision yourself.

Presidential Proclamation – Fire Prevention Week 2011

On Sunday, October 16, 2011, in accordance with Public Law 107.51, the flag of the United States will be flown at half staff on all Federal office buildings in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Services. I call on all Americans to participate in this observance with appropriate programs and activities and by renewing their efforts to prevent fires and their tragic consequences.
This neighborhood association and the Arlington Police Department would like to thank all of the firefighters who risk their lives for us on a daily basis. We appreciate all that you do!
